In November 2015, BAY hosted the first annual Belmopan Art Fest at the Civic Center. It featured 20 Belizean artists with amazing talents. There were paintings, crafting, recycled art, jewellery, crochet art, fencing, and so much more! The opening ceremony featured a member of the Garifuna Collective who did a wonderful performance. It was held again in November 2016 at the Belmopan Comprehensive School and November 2017 at the Belmopan Civic Center where new artists joined to display their art. BAY hopes to reach a larger audience in the following years to come.
